Travis Mynard served as the liason between LCS players and Riot Games for over six years. Last summer, he felt he could do more good for players by becoming a third party talent agent. Now working with the United Talent Agency, one of Hollywood's biggest agencies, he's helping build esports players into individual brands.
Key findings from UTA's recent poll that shows a dramatic increase in gaming content:
- Among other activities for filling the void, at least 40% of respondents say they’re consuming more video games, music streaming, and YouTube content.
- More than 8 in 10 within the key demo of 25-44, say that playing sports-related video games provides enjoyment as a replacement.
- 70% of those who say they miss watching live sports, and more than three-quarters of those under 25, say they will continue playing and watching more video games after live sports returns.
