Ivan “OG KING CURT” Curtiss

Curtiss is an on-air caster, motivational speaker, an esports entrepreneur
and the current head coach and general manager for Nets Gaming, the Brooklyn Nets’ NBA 2K League
franchise. OG KING CURT is a former enlistee in the United States Navy, who when he'd deploy to sea,
he and his fellow service members used to play the earliest version of 2K on a Sega Dreamcast console.
He is also the co-founder of one of the iconic NBA 2K independent event organizers, the MyPlayer
Basketball Association (M.P.B.A.). Prior to joining Nets Gaming, he was a former draft scout and player
analyst for Bucks Gaming. OG KING CURT has been featured on many top esports, entertainment and
sports publications, including Complex Magazine, The Undefeated, The Score, Dayton Daily News, SB
Nation’s Nets Daily, Fox News 4 San Antonio, Bklyner, Operation Sports, and many others. He is also one
of the three coaches selected to assist in the first “NBA 2K League Development Camp: Women in
Gaming.” This competitive gaming camp was created by the NBA 2K League to help select top aspiring
women NBA 2K gamers prepare for the NBA 2K League try-out and combine process.

OG KING CURT is also a co-host of the esportsXTRA show with SNY TV reporter, Larry Ridley and
two-time WNBA Champion of Atlanta Dream and NBA G League commentator, Renee Montgomery.
Curtiss has engaged in extensive press and media appearances, including speaking on industry panels
such as the 2020 Syracuse Sports Business Conference looking at “The Evolution of the NBA 2K League.”
In early 2020, he launched his lifestyle and gaming podcast, the “#OG2CENTS” Podcast, where OG KING
CURT interviews some of the most influential individuals in the gaming, entertainment and lifestyle
sectors. This includes interviews with NBA Insider, Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson; Forbes writer Brian
Mazique, professional female football player, Chantell Taylor, NBA Draft Prospect Kyree Walker, SNY
Anchor, Larry Ridley, former NFL Cheerleader turned philanthropist, Jennifer Cobb, and WNBA
champion, Renee Montgomery, to name a few. Looking to not just be a change maker, but also act as a
