Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Timothy “oLarry” Anselimo is the “Bo Jackson” of esports as
he is both a former professional Madden football player as well as current NBA 2K basketball gamer.

oLarry has competed professionally since 2014 in both Madden football and NBA 2K

basketball series. He was been featured on NBA TV’s “Beyond The Paint,” ESPN’s Sportscenter, The
Washington Post/Launcher, Bleacher Report, BuzzFeed, Business Insider, The Score, Polygon, Dot
Esports, Cheddar, CheckPointXP, Sport Techie, Operation Sports, Sports Gamers Online and many
more.

In 2018, oLarry was the 25th overall player selected by Buck Gaming in the inaugural NBA 2K
League draft at Madison Square Garden in New York. During Season 1 of the NBA 2K League, oLarry
averaged nearly 14 PPG, 6 RPG and nearly a block per game.

After Season 1, Timothy attended a competitive Madden tournament in Jacksonville, Florida
that changed his life forever. As chronicled by ABC News, oLarry was part of a mass-shooting where
he was shot four times and after months of intense physical therapy returned solely to NBA 2K esports.
Following this event, oLarry was drafted by Cavs Legion Gaming during the NBA 2K League
Season 2 Supplemental Draft. During Season 2, he averaged 10 PPG, 6 RPG and over 2.5 blocks per
game for Cavs Legion Gaming. As a result of his amazing story, in 2019, oLarry won the first-ever
ESPN ESPY award for “Esports Moment of the Year” for his triumphant return to the NBA 2K League.

After being protected by Cavs Legion Gaming, oLarry continued his NBA 2K League
dominance in Season 3 with Cavs Legion Gaming. oLarry averaged nearly 15 PPG, 12 RPG and
nearly 2.5 blocks per a game, including finishing 10th in rebounds and 8th in blocks. He has also
continued to work on expanding his personal brand, including by making numerous personal speaking
appearances including at 2019 USF Esports Summit.
