About this Episode

In only a few years since launch, Sleeper has become the choice for many hardcore fantasy sports enthusiasts. In a space previously dominated by the NFL, Yahoo and ESPN, Sleeper has gained market share quickly.

Now the company has announced a $20M Series B funding round with backers including Kevin Durant, Juju Smith-Schuter and plenty more. Part of that round will be used to expand into League of Legends fantasy games, starting this summer.

Sleeper CEO Nan Wang and CTO Weixi Yen, join the show to talk about the funding round, the unique aspects of bringing fantasy games to league of legends and how the company hopes to create the first massively popular season-long fantasy esports competition.
